Berlin, 05 April 2023 – DB Regio and Mobimeo are bringing the Deutschland-Ticket to the DB Streckenagent app. The second-largest app of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) now allows users to purchase the Germany-wide ticket as well as search for routes throughout Germany.
Since pre-sales began this week, the Deutschland-Ticket can be purchased and stored in the DB Streckenagent app. As the first ticket offered in the app, it turns DB Streckenagent into a complete Germany-wide app for everyday mobility. With sharing services having been integrated in March of this year, the app now offers all the features needed for getting around without a private car: route search, alternative mobility services and ticketing.
DB Regio and Mobimeo are thus pursuing the goal of creating easy access to all mobility services with a standard solution for everyday mobility. Essential characteristics include a quick overview of all crucial information and an intuitive user experience.
