Mobility inside (Mi) was developed to enhance multimodal and cross-network mobility across Germany.
Mobility Inside project
The white-label apps enable users to plan routes, purchase tickets, and access various shared mobility services, including car, bike, and e-scooter sharing, within a single platform. As a technology partner, Mobimeo contributed to the white-label approach, allowing transport associations and companies to customize the apps to their own branding quickly and cost-effectively.
Key features
Multimodality
Enabled users to travel from A to B using different modes of transport by linking public transport with micromobility options. The app compared various means of transport for individual routes and allowed selections from participating associations.
Cross-city connectivity
Simplified cross-network route searches, enabling users to navigate different transport networks with a single app. Ticket purchases for any participating transport association were available directly within the app.
Long-distance integration
Connected local and intercity routes by displaying Deutsche Bahn long-distance trains within the app and allowing convenient ticket purchases through the DB Navigator app.
