Following a relaunch, the KVV.mobil app of the transport association Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV) ran on Mobimeo’s Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform from May to December 2021. With the KVV.mobil app, KVV offered its passengers a complete range of mobility options across its network area from a single source. The app made a major contribution to sustainable mobility in Karlsruhe by linking public transport, the electric on-demand ridesharing service MyShuttle and sharing offers from TIER, Voi and Nextbike. KVV.mobil brought users to their destination quickly and easily – without needing their own car. Its feature set also included simple and contactless purchasing of public transport tickets and direct MyShuttle bookings in the app (deep integration). At the end of 2021, KVV’s public transport apps were merged. For this reason, the KVV.mobil app was discontinued at the end of 2021.
