As a navigation feature for public transport, the Companion accompanied many users of the BVG Fahrinfo app to their destination. Between November 2019 and spring 2022, the live navigation feature provided users reliably with information regarding their public transport route. The pilot project was successfully completed in March 2022. All insights and experiences that were gathered on the way, helped us to further develop and continuously improve the feature. This way, we were able to implement the feature into other apps that are based on our MaaS platform, like the Mobility Stuttgart app of the S-Bahn.
